Petzen, is Austria's most southern ski and snowboard area. Situated in the southeast of Carinthia, it is a paradise for both, snowboarders and skiers. Though Petzen is a rather small skiing area, it is - especially for families - an insider's tip.
A 6-man cable car guarantees a fast and comfortable ascent without delay up to the Siebenhütten mountain station (1.700m).
There you take the Siebenhütten-Lift up to 1.900 m. 4 T-bar lift, 1 childrens lift, ski school and a ski-Kindergarten will complete the offer of our family-friendly skiing area.
The ski is the limit. More than 20 km of skiing slopes, a paradise for Snowboarders and Skiers. All pistes are well prepared, snow-sure and avalanche safe. Highlight: The 12 km long downhill run with 3 different types of difficulty.

In the valley you will find the ski- and snowboard school as well as the ski-Kindergarten with optimal conditions. There are courses for groups as well as for single persons.
Top-Athletics like Sabine Egger (Winner of the World Cup) and Rainer Schönfelder (Winner Slalom World Cup Kitzbühel 2002) started their carreer at the Petzen.
